STONEWALL Rebellion Veterans Association

New York Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual & Transgender
Business Expo & Entertainment Festival

Gaycott!!!!

The STONEWALL Rebellion Veterans Association ("S.R.V.A.") had to conduct legal action
in the New York City Commercial Claims Court against the RDP Group, named after its founder
Robert Donnelll Productions, for advertising monieR.D.P. Group"
New York City Commercial Claims Court - Inds owing to the S.R.V.A.  The RDP Group is/was headed up by its duplicitous owner Steven X. Wexler.

The New York City civil court case involved the RDP's long failure to pay advertising costs to the
S.R.V.A.  Many officials of the S.R.V.A. spoke with various RDP staffers for months on end in an
attempt to collect the duly owed payments.  The RDP Group was advised that legal action would
be taken; however, Steven Wexler mistakingly thought that the S.R.V.A. was bluffing!  It was
unexpected due to the longtime RDP Group advertising on the popular S.R.V.A. website.  But, this
expo's attendance was clearly slipping year after year.  The S.R.V.A. had been cautioned about RDP
due its increasing underhandedness.  Further, to the many nasty instances of anti-Gay comments and
Gay slurs by the hothead owner Steven Wexler.  Nonetheless, this was a new low by the RDP: screw
the legendary -- and non-profit -- Stonewall veterans out of money!

Meanwhile, the non-Gay RDP Group's expo benefitted from attendees, advertisers, publicity, sponsors
and the media in addition to good will and sponsors for the un-paid advertising on the S.R.V.A. website.
It also included thousands of mailings and an active link to the RDP/Gay Business Expo website.  Many more details and evidence followed in the Court hearing by a New York City Civil Court judge -- the
bizarre, bigotted, boastful and, years later, controversial Arhur Q. Engorian.

In Court, Round 1, the extremely nervous, leg-shaking defendant, a.k.a. RDP Group owner,
perjured himself with one lie after another.  He even lied about the name of the expo!  Wtf?

Yes, this is the same non-Gay owned and greedily operated expo that two years ago, to
the outrage of visitors, had a disrespectful and gruesome display of 'open' caskets!  Sic!  Hey,
that is real "Gay" and a happy expo and so fun -- especially in the Gay age of AIDS!  You
can imagine how many Gay people never returned just because of that disrespectul stunt!

 =====advisory=====
Do not participate in the next, if any, RDP expo or to any of their assigns or any future
purchasers!  There is nothing anymore that is really authentic "G.L.B.T." about it!

NYC Gay Business Expo #17

Note:  Unfortunately, no opening ceremonies again this year!

Saturday, March 20, 2010 -- 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, March 21, 2010 -- 12 noon to 6 p.m.

The STONEWALL Rebellion Veterans Association was attempting to negotiate arrangements for the annual S.R.V.A. presence at the New York City G.L.B.T. Expo and the classic and famous blue 1969 car known as the "Stonewall Convertible" to be on display to kick-off year of "Stonewall 41" here in our hometown Manhattan where the SRVA-ers started it all!

S.R.V.A. Executive Committee Decision:  A unanimity of the E/C has decided that for various factors -- notably the advertising fees that the RDP Group benefitted from and owes the S.R.V.A. -- that the S.R.V.A. will not participate in 2010 at the NYC Gay Biz Expo and, thus, the 1969 "Stonewall Convertible" will not
be on display.  They could care less!  We are providing this notice simply to avoid attendees expecting to meet Stonewall veterans as in years gone by, interviews with SRVA-ers or photo ops with the famous "Stonewall Convertible" not to be disappointed.  We suggest you follow suit, show Gay unity and do not partake!
