1998 - N.Y.S. Sen. Abate in GLBT Candidates' Forum New York State Senator Catrherine M. Abate proudly participated as a speaker in the G.L.B.T. Candidates' Forum on Thursday, August 27, 1998. The huge forum was sponsored by PRIDE Democrats and co-sponsored by the S.V.A., the IQKNY, the GMAD, et al. Catherine was one of four very qualified candidates for the Democratic Party's nomination for N.Y.S. Attorney General. The event was hosted by Williamson Henderson and held at the GLBT Community Center in Manhattan, New York.  |
